I'm assuming they'd intonate fine. Peavey used to make a model called the Mantis, and it was purposely made with 23 frets.

The KV1 and 2's I've owned were alder

sweet! I'm trying to own my first KV1's but on top of the market being crazy the last couple years, KV1's rarely pop up.

I have a KV1 i would be willing to let go of, serial #UO5248. It was the first one made in 1998, it's mint with original inspection tag, owners Jackson/Charvel manual, Jackson case, LSR tuners, Kahler bridge, original pickups, pots, warranty card and plastic bag.
