Re: Childhood hero...

I love the way Alex Ross does the Heroes

I wanted to be Iron Fist

The thing with Green Arrow that bugs me is that huge trash can full of arrows on his back. I mean, yeah he's got one for every occasion - exploding, piercing, noisemakers, flares, a big boxing glove (remember that one? ), and probably Patriots too - but damn that's gotta be a bugger to lug around all the time

Here's one:
Who read Sgt Rock, and who thinks that would make a good movie (played by Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis, or Hugh Jackman?)

I wanted to be anyone who can kick serious ass. That wish hasn't changed much.

Sho Kosugi! (let's see if anyone remembers him)
Nigel Mansell

I don't remember ever wanting to be someone like Superman or Batman. I think Superman is a homo.

Actually I always liked Iron Man. I hear they have been working on an Iron Man live action movie. I can't wait to see that.

These days, the closest thing I have to a hero would be the recently deceased guy in my avatar.

I don't remember ever being crazy about a super hero. I did like Flash Gordon when the remake came out. Saw that damn movie about 20 times.

+1 Skywalker. Solo had the overall coolness advantage, no doubt. But Luke had the lightsaber.

Then VH or Randy.

My chidhood hero was Popeye, then hawkeye from MASH, now it's Iommi.

Han Solo, Dick Butkus (hence the reason most jerseys I have personalized will have the #51 - except for Gretzky or Eddie Belfour), and (Kristi will laugh about this...) The Incredible Hulk
