Had the pleasure of seeing him once with Heaven and Hell. I was right in front of him in the pit the whole time. He was incredible. Wish I could have seen him more though. RIP.

I just found out about this. How sad...... I can't believe it! I really thought he'd beat it. I've been listening to Dio all week this week and even just today while tidying up the music room. Then I turn on the computer and read the news.... I"m still in shock!

Just saw that. Didn't think to look anywhere except in the artist section.... figured it would be here if anywhere.

I know there is no comparison, totally different things, but Bret Michaels...I was pullin' for the big goon. Couldn't believe he made it. Then Ronnie doing that interview and you think, hell.....things lookin' up for metal. Guess too much to hope for.

I'm not fatalistic, overtly, but we all got a little bit of that sort of thinking in us I guess.
