Yeah the dollar is brutal right now, and only gonna get worse apparently. Might have to put my custom explorer on hold

Looks like the UK is getting some cool single cut colors as well...

These colors are available in the US also. Jackson just updated their website with all the new models.

Whoever at Fender is designing these guitars is really clueless... those single cuts look horrid.

The headstock on them isn't doing it for me.
I noticed the outlined sharkies on the inlays... looks familiar.

So at least one of the NAMM Jackson rumours is true...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Black nickel hardware shown on some of the MIM Charvels looks utterly horrid. Come on J/C, you should know better. Didn't you learn that lesson from the satin chrome debacle of the mid-90s? LOL.

Chrome, black, or gold only. Otherwise, you shall not pass. LOL

The Shred PC1 looks interesting - Pat and I were discussing the need for a stripped down PC1 and this is close-ish. Just need to drop the sustainer now!

The Firebirds are a little disappointing. Great that they did them, but the specs are more 'freak' and less 'unique' to my eyes. The Beck style Soloist is pretty awesome though..

Hah! It's like we're prophetical, dude. LOL. Too bad they didn't do it H-S and non-sustainer, like we said.

                      What's this about a JB-style Soloist? Drooling.

They're odd looking at only half height. I like mine better. lol

Well, I never did get to see the custom shop guitars as they were wisked away apparently after Wednesday night's dealers only event But I did shoot pix of what was in the booth:
