No other color makes me jones like this one. Great choice...I'm jealous. Now I gotta get another one...goddammmit!!!

Some famous dude's collection of PC1's......

His name escapes me right now! LOL!

Though I think he might be British....

Wanna see some really killer ex-Phil Collen PC1's?

Brooks ought to chime in to this thread and show his awesome collection.

Just remember that "Eau Naturale" does actually exist and that there is no "h" in Clorine! LOL

I got a question for you long-time owners...how does the gold hardware finish hold up on these guitars. Gold hardware is notorious for tarnishing/wearing off, etc. When I see pics of some "older" PC-1s, it looks like the gold is actually holding up quite nicely. Should I expect this for mine?
                  Thanks

My oldest ones, 1996 and 1997 are still holding up well.

Probably because this is a Solar finish. Rootbeer would look like this:

Here is mine in my favorite PC-1 color, Purple Daze. I don't play it out live much because the no fret marker thing does indeed throw me off! BIG sharkies make things much easier, especially on dark stages with full light show going Anyway, here ya go:
