Wow, this is an old thread. Anyone know how long it takes Ikebe to ship to US, or if you have to deal w/ customs or whatever if you get it shipped?

Oh, so that Ikebe site DOES ship overseas eh? Dammit, I really want either the RR-J2E or the KV-2K, those look like killer deals.

Veli said he got in contact with somebody from Ikebe and you can get 'em to do it.. I'm not incredibly familiar with Ikebe so I don't know who it is..

Oh man, I love you guys! I wanted to know more about the Stars series and you guys have told me helluva lot of good shit. Basically the only site I've relied on for the Stars series is this site.

There are 2 staff members at the Nagoya-Sakae store that speak English at Ishibashi, in the guitar department. I think they have 9 of the 'Stars' series in stock, all black:

    http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/nagoya-sakae/

Also, Komehyo in Nagoya has about 4 used 'Stars' models, including a blood splattered one for about $500. (Komehyo is a massive 5 floor department store that is all used goods. The 5th floor is all guitars!) The daytime manager on weekdays speaks English. (Sorry, his name escapes me at the moment). I'm not sure about shipping, though:

    Ishibashi music.
If you want the reverse headstock, they can do that for you too.

    http://www.hvymtlsteve.com/stars-translation.html

I translated the list of options on the custom and semi-custom order sheets so here it is for you.. The prices have gone up a little since I did that though, so just e-mail [email protected] if you want a quote on something. They have a couple people who can speak English, so you'll be ok with them, and their prices are reasonable.
