  • Don't know, they do nothing to me. They look weird. I kinda dig the not symetrical look of some Suhr guitars but this one is kinda odd. Too bad as the wood finish on the red/darker one is quite impressive. Too each his own I would say.

    • I hear what you are saying and I agree for the 6-string. For me the beefiness of the 7-string neck makes it work. Don't know why but I like it. The 6 is just okay.

Damn! I know some guys who did preorders on the 7 strings are going to be pissed. The dealers were saying about 45 days about 45 days ago. Glad I didn't preorder which I almost did.

              • i was really excited about a broderick signature when he first signed with jackson, but these guitars look shit, the body just looks deformed and retarded. it doesnt even look anything like a soloist, and i hate the new age headstocks. if your going to have a jackson atleast make it resememble some classic jackson characteristics in at least one way. this guitar lost its way at some point, shame because i was so looking forward to it, then bam!!

                • If you want a classic Jackson, they're all over the place. Broderick didn't design the guitar for you.

                      • I agree with sinistas. If you want classic Jackson's they're all over the place. I don't see why its a negative to have a new shape introduced. If your expectations were let down then get a custom Jackson. That's what the custom shop is for. There's no need to call the guitar "retarded" or "shit".

                        • I am seriously dying to get my hands on one the 7-strings. My CS Soloist is back in the CS getting repaired and I'm going crazy not having a shredders guitar to play (I have a Les Paul, but it's not comfortable to play for me).

Not sure if this link has been posted; here's some recent info from Broderick on his guitars: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/bla...sitemID=158928

                              • I like it. I think this and the Demmel and Morton models bring a breath of fresh air for Jackson.
