It's Jackson - it can take a while.I knew about the SLAT3-7 for a year before it turned up. If there is a Pro series of this, they're certainly not going to announce it when they haven't even got the USAs out the door yet, are they?

When the hell will they release a Pro series version of this? They conformed it, according to Sevenstring.org, but WHEN?!?!

Back in the 90's Akai built (or bought) a Korean factory for producing the acoustic line they made. Some Charvel solid bodies were made there to see how good they would be.
When FMIC purchased the Jackson/Charvel Manufacturing company, did they get that property with it? Or was it not part of the deal? Thats a question worth hearing an answer on.
And while we are at it, the sample I played then was not up to Japanese par then. But now maybe a different story. I am not racist towards Koreans. My Korean made 2005 Schecter Ultra holds its own in my collection with no problem.

The question is, if FMIC decided to move their production let's say to South Korea for any reason, would that affect the quality of their guitars, and would import fans be as excited or as committed to the Jackson products?
