I'm lucky, I didn't have to put any money down.

Damn! I know some guys who did preorders on the 7 strings are going to be pissed. The dealers were saying about 45 days about 45 days ago. Glad I didn't preorder which I almost did.

I hear what you are saying and I agree for the 6-string. For me the beefiness of the 7-string neck makes it work. Don't know why but I like it. The 6 is just okay.

Don't know, they do nothing to me. They look weird. I kinda dig the not symetrical look of some Suhr guitars but this one is kinda odd. Too bad as the wood finish on the red/darker one is quite impressive. Too each his own I would say.

Wow! Those are gorgeous! I really like the shaping on the top, now that I can see it in some detail. I guess I'd have to see how it feels, though.

I'm not big on the bottom of the guitar... the asymmetric thing doesn't do it for me. However, it looked less ridiculous when he was playing it in the video. I think Dave will come back to Jackson in a bit, seeing as the rest of the band is playing them now. I know Deans are solid quality though, but I just really hate the inlays on the Dave Vs. In my mind Sharkfin or nothing... with an ebony board is the way to go.

Considering he was just about to re-sign with Jackson in 2007 before Dean drove up with a truckload of money, and him saying that he was hoping Broderick would sign with Jackson or Dean, I doubt he's all that bitter.

There's money to be made with Mustaine + Jackson. He'll be back sooner or later to cash in.

Now that Chris and Jr. are with Jackson, I bet when Mustaines contract is up with Dean... he'll come home!
