Radius is 12 - 16 compound. Thickness was listed as .750" at the 3rd fret, .810" at the 12th fret (same as the DK1, btw) when the pointy specs came out a couple years ago. I have a hard time telling if my pointy has more of a C or D backshape, but it looks like Musikraft's "Thin D" is a match for the thickness specs.

Cool... What do you think the frets are?

We just had a pretty good discussion about the frets here:

        http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77632

Lots of people go with Dunlop 6100s, but I think the 6110s may actually be closer. They are a close match to the specs posted in the old catalogs for Model Series frets, and both my old & new Charvels seem to have very similar frets to my Model Series guitars. The 6100 & 6110 are pretty close to each other, and I bet you'd be happy either way unless you're extremely picky. The specs are posted in my comment in that thread.

Exactly. And I want dead-on. The guys at musikraft said they're no reason why they can't do one, as an authorized FMIC/Charvel replacement part manufacturer; they're just "not currently planning to do one"...

            Thanks. I missed that thread...

I just saw one of the Musikraft neck on tha bay. I was wondering about the specs, but no need to post.
I will be ordering one for my DR2 body, sence finding a DR2 neck is impossible.

                joe...
Just curious....Has anyone here ever gone through this route with FMIC to get a replacement Fender, Charvel, or Jackson neck?
