Tigertailz (Just HAD to put this one in :ROTF - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fiJUlXeWPY
While Kim hooker had a better voice than steevi, i think liked the first record better. sadly, i couldn't find any video of star attraction, or hollywood killer, or the original version of fall in love again, but they were fun as hell.

Alot of this stuff isn't that "pussified" at all..it could easily be on the other thread!
"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
      Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

I didn't want to hijack that thread, even though I don't like that kinda stuff doesn't mean the thread doesn't have any value to others.

I've always thought about having a pinned thread with all sorts of obscure bands based on style. I think it's cool to turn people on to stuff they may not have heard of. For example, Sully turned me on to Johnny Crash. There's always another band you didn't know about.

tons of people mention the Killer Dwarfs but fail to spell the name right! LOL

GREAT band, and they didnt use spell check on the original band name, as it is "Killer Dwarfs", as opposed to Dwarves

          Roxy Blue was great

          Tora Tora was great

          White Lion was great

          Enuff Z'Nuff = great

I can't give Tesla the name "hair metal" with an honest heart, but GREAT band

          Stryper, Ugly Kid Joe, HELIX

fuck there was a lot of great bands

Either way, Kix was a great band, and I never understood why they never got any bigger than they did. I STILL blast "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" on a regular basis. Great song. Now "Body Talk"? Eh........not so great......

No Tigertailz. Sorry. That was the band with Pepsi Tate, right? Didn't he just pass away?

Another band no one has mentioned.

TNT! One of the better guitarists and singers of that time, IMHO.

Oh God, Tigertailz?! Ugh, that was the one album I took a chance on, and LOST! Well, that and TT Quick's "Metal Of Honor". Yikes!
Yes, Pepsi Tates WAS in that band. Don't know about his current status, though.
TNT is one of THEE best. Ronnie Le Tekro was one of my first influences, with his rapid muted picking and squeels, LONG before Zakk. Tony had one of the best rock voices, too, IMHO.

Ok, i'm done, and that took way longer than I thought!

Another Dave Scott fan? Sweet. Another band that shoulda been bigger. "Tonight, Tonight" is still a fav.

Have you heard their "My Religion" cd? Probably one of their best yet. I haven't heard the one with Tony Mills from Shy though.

Hey, they had a few, and they are one of the tightest, most professional bands I've had the pleasure of seeing live!! It's not all "wedding songs"... "Reach for the Sky" rocks, as does "Shake and Tumble". That's the stuff by Firehouse that I listen to!

Now that I think about it, I may have seen them once with Great White and another time with Cinderella. After turning 21 in '93, a lot of those club days were a drunken haze! :ROTF:
