As for Dave possibly going to Dean....well, it makes sense. Dave wants to have numerous models done, a pointy V, a roundhorn V, an Axxion, the doublenecks and various others like the "Trust" Firebird.......Jackson won't do a round v or a firebird, and we all know that Dean will do just about any shape. I want him to go Jackson, but Dean does seem like the most likely looking at all he wants to do.

I can't even imagine the Axxion Dean I like Axxion but it shouldn't be a Dean!

Well if it's Dean that will be terrible IMO. I'd like to see him with Line 6. Sounds weird but why not?

In all honesty, i never liked Pantera. I'm not trying to say that its not fucked up that he got killed, but i've always been a fan of Megadeth. Countdown to Extinction was the first cd I ever bought. In a perfect world no one would have gotten killed. But I would rather it be Dime than Dave.

this is just MY OPINION. It sucks that the guys that love Dime lost a hero. But people die every day, and you don't go saying "oh it should have been so and so"

ugh, I didn't mean for it to turn into this...

what I meant is that Dave, although his quotes are hilarious and he is a great guitar player, he is far to snobby. And i agree that you have to be thickheaded, aggressive and speak your mind, but sometimes it seems like Dave just takes it WAY too far (look at Dime... they premiered at #1 on the Billboard, and Dime was a great guy... I don't think Megadeth ever premiered at #1). He just seems so conceited sometimes. On Headbangers Ball after Dime died, he couldnt get off of the fact that he was an influence to Dime. He couldn't just say "I knew him, he was a friend, I miss him." He jsut started to rant on about how much Dime loved him.

It was a terrible loss, but it was his time because it happened. Dave is still with us. I've come to the point where I don't wish death on anyone, but it would be sad for me to see Dave die. Just my opinion.

Thats how I meant my post to sound. It's not cool that Dime died, it's a tremendous loss for sure, but it would hurt me more if Dave died...he's been my hero for so long.
