I had thought the same thing when I saw Mustaine post, but then I thought maybe he's going to some other company and they wanted him to say something so that not everyone's watching Dean's broadcast.

Ironic, considering Mustaine used to call him Dirtbag Darrell instead of Dimebag Darrell.

I think he respecte din Darrell in terms of him being a good gutiar player, but I don't think either on them got along with each over. I mean c'mon, Dave Mustaine has pissed off every thrash metal guitarist out there :ROTF:

Joe, that was ironed out a LONG time ago, they even toured together after that mess.

Dave and Dime got along just fine, they weren't real close, but Dime was a HUGE fan.....thus where the name Blacktooth Grin came from on Dime's signature shot of Crown Royal with a splash of Coke, and the blacktooth tattoo Dime had on his calf. Not to mention that Dave was one of the first guys to sign the Dimebag tribute vest that was auctionned off at the benefit last year in Dallas.




As for Dave possibly going to Dean....well, it makes sense. Dave wants to have numerous models done, a pointy V, a roundhorn V, an Axxion, the doublenecks and various others like the "Trust" Firebird.......Jackson won't do a round v or a firebird, and we all know that Dean will do just about any shape. I want him to go Jackson, but Dean does seem like the most likely looking at all he wants to do.
