what I meant is that Dave, although his quotes are hilarious and he is a great guitar player, he is far to snobby. And i agree that you have to be thickheaded, aggressive and speak your mind, but sometimes it seems like Dave just takes it WAY too far (look at Dime... they premiered at #1 on the Billboard, and Dime was a great guy... I don't think Megadeth ever premiered at #1). He just seems so conceited sometimes. On Headbangers Ball after Dime died, he couldnt get off of the fact that he was an influence to Dime. He couldn't just say "I knew him, he was a friend, I miss him." He jsut started to rant on about how much Dime loved him.
Dave does unintentionally come across as snobby sometimes, but I think you missed the point Dave was trying to get at. He put Dime on the same level as himself, and was seriously humbled that he was a big influence on Dime and went as far to say that Dime and Vinnie were one of the best brother combos in rock history second only to Angus and Malcolm Young. Coming from Dave, that is HUGE!
Incendntally, I believe that the tribute vest is on loan to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame right now......and that is way cool. Here's some of the people who signed it. (that I can remember)

Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!
It's cool bro, I just lucked out to be "In the know" (lol....I know everyone loves that term) since doing the benefit down in Arlington last year. Dime's friends are some of the coolest people I've ever met, and I can't wait to see them all again this August!!!!!

I like what I've seen so far in Dean. I think it would be a good partnership. Jackson must have spent all their endorser $$$ on Jenna cuz I only hear of players leaving, not signing.
You obviously do not understand Jackson's stance on endorsements and freebies and why they "endorsed" Jenna.
Players like Mustaine and Vai and Metallica and such that jump from brand to brand do so because they get free gear, and they are considered whores for it. Jackson's philosophy is that if you want your company represented by a whore who's only in it for the money, hire the best whore known to man - Jenna "I do it all and I swallow" Jameson.
While this philosophy has kept them from being as widespread in the marketplace as Ibenhad or ESPenis (or even Fender, who don't seem to mind having gear whores represent them), it's also kept them from being completely shut down as a USA-based company and moved to Japan to be swallowed up by the Samick Conglomerate, unlike Ibenhad, ESPee, etc etc.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
plus the guys she has been with (professionally, anyway) are rigorously tested for disease.
Regular guys and gals pulling a stranger every weekend can't be that confident in the 'cleanliness' of their one nighter
