  • Bullet for My Valentine vs Trivium

C'mon, even though most of you probably don't like either, I just want to find out who the JCF think is better overall, I've seen that people think Trivium is proper "Metal"(Bullshit) and that BFMV are posers (In before "Is Matt Tuck from Coldplay") Base this on #1 Talent and #2 Song quality.

    Thanks
    ~Mazz~

Trivium aren't proper metal. They're proper shite. I tried to like them when I heard they were supporting Maiden at a gig I was going to, but they fucking suck. They were as boring as fuck live, every song sounded the same: old Metallica rip off with fucking shit screamo vocals.
    Utter shite.

BFMV can fuck off just for having the gayest name ever. That's not a metal band's name, it's a shit name.

Fuck them both. I like me some Maiden and Priest. REAL metal!!!

I don't own any of their albums, and I think they're both just okay. I seem to like more of what I've heard from BFMV than Trivium.

I picked BFMV cos I can remember their songs when they've finished, whereas I can't say the same about Trivium. I enjoy Trivium when I listen to them, but there's nothing that sticks in my head about them.

And when it comes to these two bands, frankly, I don't give a crap if the old-school-metal-mafia think they are shit. Being able to understand the vocals shouldn't be a bad thing, and they can play way fucking better than most of the bedroom heroes who like to slate them. I'd way rather listen to Trivium or BFMV than some god awful death grunting bullshit with GIT guitar playing.

                  A. Fuck Hanson. When it comes to brothers, its all about the Nelsons - true Jackson Bloodline!

                  B. I like Trivium and have never conciously heard any BFMV.

That keyboard chick in Hanson is hotter than those chicks in Poison! :ROTF:

I prefer Bullet for my Valentine from what I have heard. Besides, they play Jacksons; Trivium plays Deans, right?

BFMV is my roomates sons favorite band, so I have heard a lot of their stuff. the guitarists sound lot more melodic and intricate than the Trivium guys, who sound like they are not that great even for the 80s.

Actually, I think it's bullshit. I'll give any band a listen, I TRIED to dig Trivium, but the plain fact is their songs aren't anywhere near as good as older bands like Maiden and Priest.
Yeah, they are awesome musicians, but their songs are shit. IMO. Exactly the same goes for Dragonforce.
