BUT Flatpicker, (and most of America appaerently), you need to learn right from wrong. It's amazing to me that Obama was elected, and it's even more astounding that threads like this are making the rounds on every music board I visit.

The facts against Obama were so well documented and still he was elected. The fact that Flatpicker is actually taking up for these Obama supporters that beat up the girl is unreal to me. How can you say she should have;

Even a good MA fighter has major issues with groups.
You can't go to the ground, the others will kick the crap out of you.
You have to find a place to put your back and hope that you can disorient the group enough to get a running start.

Then run as fast and as far as possible. Hopefully you can find a group to blend into.
With the witnesses around, most groups lose their nerve.

It's not political, or even racial, it's about right and wrong. I see it every day here in Phoenix, and I'm not a cop or anything. I work in the private sector in the cleaning industry. I deal with every type of person there is, and I am very tired of some. There is a reason there are stereotypes, because most of them are true. I am sick of dealing with some people, and luckily there is caller ID so I don't answer their calls. If you think I am a racist then so be it, but I know what I have dealt with for the last 25 years and you aren't gonna change my mind with liberal talk.

Also, I have played in several bands with black guys and had no problem at all, it's not a race thing, it's an ideal that we have to deal with.

If you actually read my comments, I left color out and was talking about one person vs a group.
There are certain things when you are approached by a group of people, of any color, that you don't do.

This wasn't political and it certainly wasn't racist, at least not in my post.

Yep, they reacted to Obama's victory much like OJ's aquittal in '96. I KNOW..I was there!!! On duty , in the heart of the hood, on MLK blvd. Even our dispatchers and fellow black officers went nuts!!!
