hit or miss, i'v seen them just totaly awesome, then i've seen them just ok, coulda been my mood, dunno, i filmed a show on the "black" tour, it was pretty damn awesome, i had a blast at that show, but it kinda sucked cause i was trying to get the best recording i could, but i wanted to just rush down and thrash my ass off.
I brought 2 batteries for the camera ( the huge ass ones, not like the ones today, lol) and fully charged, they played so long both went dead before it was over.
Shit they played the encores and lights went up and everything, at least half of the people had already filed out of the venue, and they came back out and were like, "you fuckers still here?" and then they jamed out for probably another 45 minutes, the show was at least if not over 4 hours long

I'm in the crowd somewhere in the front on one of the Binge and Purge videos too, they seem to really like Seattle, well and Seattle seems to like them, they always used to have two sold out shows here, maybe it was like that where you guys live too dunno

I don't care what anyone says about them - they flat out kick ass live.
Any band would have a hard time matching their energy level. ENJOY!
You sir, can go you fuck yourself and don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out.
You're such a pretencious, phony, boring, transparent, self righteous worthless fuck..You are amusing as a genital wart!

Y'know I escorted Metallica during the Reload Tour...They gave me a shitload of picks..about 30 or so.

Jason gave me most of them..he likes those triangled muthafuggas. I got used ones from James and Kirk ...from their pockets..practicing I guess.

Seattle also liked Alice In Chains, Queensryche, and Nevermore too.

                    for starters..

                      what's wrong with Nirvana? lol.

best band from Seattle IMO was Forced Entry, they should have made it, Brad is an awesome guitarist, played his Carvins
some of their shows here were legendary honestly
most memorable band i ever saw in a bar or party, got you off your ass.
A 3 piece too, but so brutal and thick, they did the sickest Creeping Death ever
If Nevermore made it, these guys deserved it first.
they made 2 of metals finest albums, go get them.

Hey trem, you ever heard lust puppy? A friend where I live was the guitar player for them and he tells me stories about the "jam shack" they shared with nevermore. They had a indie c.d. out and he tells me loomis is the coolest guy you'll ever meet (not to mention he might be able to play a little guitar). Just curious.

                          i don't think so, doesn't sound farmiliar.
Loomis was a very cool dude the few times i was around him, before he was in Nevermore.
He used to do guitar competitions around, won a lot too
That's pretty much how he got Nevermore from what i remember.
Wally is cool too, partied with him a lot a looong time ago, Sanctuary days, i loved that band.
                          Refuge Denied was awesome.

Jeff Loomis played my RR1 LTG

He used to play a solid black RR1 on their DNB tour

Not to mention Heart, Soundgarden and (I think) Hendrix (No relation )
There has been a lot of great Talent out of Seattle, But I couldn't resist a little jab.
