I always thought that the scariest and most impressive war machines were the big ships, like the battleships. When I was on Hawaii last year, I visited the Pearl Harbour memorial. They had a huge battleship there, the USS Missouri. I think it is the one where the Japanese signed the official capitulation documents. They also have a cruiser moored at the Thames in London that's open to the public and I visited that one some years ago. The HMS Belfast maybe? Those are fascinating. I also spent some hours on the USS Intrepid in NYC and speaking of aircrafts, I think they had an SR71 there.

I'm sure this plane struck fear in the minds of many British pilots.

AC 130 for the fire power B-52 for the payload.
Knowing an AC130 was on its way made you feel good.Just get the hell out of the strike area quick.
                  Really? well screw Mark Twain.

No wonder he has such a full card.
You could pretty much get that thing over enemy territory and just hold the go button while you fly in a circle and come home.
Just imagine the things that would have bullet holes in them. hehe

                    My vote:
                    I like the P-51 Mustang...

It's sexy mean... and they are still running them in air races.
                    + infinity ..

Once I come up with a good picture of the P-51.. that will be my next ink job.

...tho i might think twice if a goauld fighter from stargate or a borg cube was looking at me...

A b52 might have me looking for the nearest lead lined fridge

I've had the opportunity to see lots of planes over the years. My neighbor, a pilot stationed at Barksdale AFB, took me on a tour of a B-52. It took just a matter of seconds for me to realize that it was much more than just a plane.
