      "You scored 30/30 and 29/30."

Man, so many of those differences stuck out like sore thumbs. Dissonant notes and messed up timing. A lot of those short passages were used more than twice I began memorizing them.

I did this while my roommate was playing his Strat in his bedroom next to mine, and my other roommate entertaining guests and watching a hockey game in the living room. I started getting bored halfway through the second test so I started surfing the JCF. That's probably where my one mistake was made due to divided attention.

I was wearing cheap open-air headphones... that probably helped a lot to help me focus. I also have no classical training... just a couple months of piano lessons before entering middle school, one year of unfocused guitar lessons where I slacked off a lot, and four vocal coaching lessons.

If only I had the technique to back up my potential, and the diplomacy to tell my guitar-wielding roommate to correct his playing when I sense weird notes or off-timing when he's trying to replicate playing a passage.

        28 & 27. I dozed off a few times, I guess it was a bit boring?
