        I have to admit...I was totally Anti Thor...Despised his music so it's funny that I end up sharing band members...To be honest...The music is not my cup o tea but my hat is off to Jon/Thor for making a living and having fun...Totally great guy!

            Hmmm, I'm thinking 1973 is a typo...if you go to Thor's website

            the pic at the top changes, it's Thor from various eras. The "Merv era Thor" is listed as 1976. There's a pic from 1974 where Thor looks quite young, I'd say teenaged. So I'd say the Merv appearance is closer to '76 or '77. I'll guess he's about 52 or 53 now.
