Re: Scariest movie ever?

Movies don't scare me, but Nekromantik is guaranteed to turn your stomach. I own around 50 horror movies(almost all pre-1995), and my drummer has two closets full of them, along with tattoos from Night of the Living Dead, The Exorcist, and several others.

I enjoy scary movies, but I always regret it when I about to go to sleep.

Anyway, I'll list a couple that are as WELL MADE as they are scary:

Exorcist III (more creepy and disturbing than scary)
28 Days Later (legitimately scary)

That is all.

I remember seeing "Alien" at the cinema, waaay back when. That was pretty creepy, for it's time.
Often it's just a single scene or image that can freak me out, in an otherwise mediocre movie. For an example, "Communion" is not a particularly great movie, but there is one brief scene in it that scared the bejeezus out of me!

Phantasm, Evil Dead and the intro a late night 70's horror show called "Horror Inc." I never made it past the intro
