    ^^^..

Doug Scarrat..awesome dude, and player. Hung with him all night during "Killing Ground" tour..called me 3 times wanting my Wolfie..

He gave me 'Bulldogs and Englishmen'..some thing he was doing then. I don't think he released it..it's very good.

Yeah, imagine that..musical cohesion, melody, groove, hooks, dynamics, originality, and virtuocity. Most players are content being in eternal cover-band limbo, or fashionable, generic, cut-N-paste trendy things of wonderment...such as these 12 string zombies. BUY A BASS..or THREE!

These guys are bass players..that can play a blues lick. Most can't bend a note to save their lives. This one actually can bend a note with the feel of a zombie blow-up doll..congratulations.

I won't say anything too negative about these guys. They have way better mechanics than I do in my playing.

That said, I still pretty much think shred guitar reached it's peak muscially with Jason Becker. Case in point...

Jeff is a monster! Thanks for sharing this clip. I don't know much about Jason so I can't compare both playing but I wonder how Jason would have evolved as a player and musician if he would not have caught that sad disease.

Yeah, saw that before. Here's him at 14 in 1996 playing Far Beyond the Sun... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFdTPSPErQ8

That was gymnastically impressive but it sounded like a fucking Nintendo. Where's Mario?
