I know!! now all we need is 4 more of those type of players-lol

spiv, Zherdev can be a streaky scorer , he started out great on the rangers and then he faded as the season went on.

wonder how talbot will be received in philly, lol. Shhhhhhhhhhhh..... I still cant believe you guys traded richards AND carter. I wouldve kept leino and told jagr to look elsewhere.

Homer's moves confuse me. Jagr is 39. He hasn't played in the NHL for three years. Yet we gave him $3.3M? I smell another Forsberg.

I can only assume that Lilja is a replacement for O'Donnell. Solid third D pairing guy.

I wish Leino would have signed with us, but he was asking for too much money ($4-5M). Good luck to him on the Sabres.

I wish we could have gotten a player for Versteeg, but at least we have his cap space cleared. Maybe Gagne's coming back?

Oh, and Talbot was a good move. He's gritty and will fit the team nicely.

We still need to replace the 60 goals we lost when we traded Richards and Carter. I would try to resign Zherdev, but for whatever reason the GM doesn't like him.

I think he'll do well but he won't put up like 90 points or anything crazy. I'd say 25-30 goals, 50'ish points.

they need to leave their vaginas in the locker room and take their balls out on the ice lol. Hockey is a big-boy sport, you can't take no shit from anyone regardless of size. Only you can protect yourself. This final was all about being physical. Vancouver as talented as they are, had a mentally fragile Luongo and just a little too soft of a team. They remind of me Detroit. They will add some more sandpaper and grit, learn to dumb it down, chip & chase, ground and pound in the playoffs as the fancy pancy stuff won't lead you to the promise land in the playoffs..two completely different types of hockey. They have ti taste defeat to hunger for victory. They'll be back Hellbat, they really are a good team. It takes a while for that to set in on puck possession, talent stacked teams, and that is what Mike Babcock had to do with the team to win his cup in Detroit...toughen up and
    play ugly hockey when needed.

It just blows me away that Sedin, one of the two faces of the franchise and NHL superstar, lets Marchand, an NHL rookie of all people, punch him repeatedley like that in the face and not do anything about it except look to the ref for a penalty. Even if you suck at fighting, at least throw one back and duck. You know at least Raffy Torres will jump in to help you.

Maybe it will be a lesson learned and will eat away at them all summer and light a fire for next season?

True. Anyone who follows the east coast teams for longer than these playoffs can tell you that the Broons are infamous for being bullies, and opponents have to stand up to them and fight back or the Broons will win.

I am glad the cup is on the east coast, but man that was an ugly series. The Broons bullied and the Canucks acted like it was FIFA with the diving and refpucking.
