I hoped all along that the Canucks would win it, but I think the Bruins have the upper hand now. It's a bit sad with all the trash-talking and the cheap shots.

About the Bure days, I always thought it was a bit funny (and interesting) that Pat Quinn when asked who the best player he ever coached was replied "Mogilny". But Bure sure was explosive, but, man, did he coast...

I want Boston to win because they don't bite fingers and have less douche bags...cough cough, burrows, cough cough Luongo cough cough.. Having said that. Home ice advantage in a game 7 is HUGE. There is no thing called meaningless pool play called the regular season you win every game and get whatever points you can get even in September..you want to be the best in the conference and league to have home ice advantage in the playoffs and finals.

Yeah because nothing says humility, class and sportmanship like punching and headlocking a Canuck after every whistle...

I heard the whole press conference and while I do believe that the press made way more out of Luongos comments, there was a fair amount of shit talking attitude in that whole answer. He needed to be a little more humble. He didn't need to comment on The goal at all. The press baited him and he bit. He also made the statement later (before game 6) that "He" not "we" but "he" was one win away from the Stanley Cup. Not only is that shit talking, but it's narcissistic and not team spirited at all. He got what he deserved. Maybe Boston will lose in Vancouver, but I have more respect for them and Julian as a team and how they've conducted themselves than I do for Vigneault and company. The Bruins have way outclassed them. Let the B's get one soft one in on Luongo and its over. So he's got a great Save percentage and GAA at home. Thomas is the Better Netminder hands down and it will piss off Luongo to see the Conn Smyth go to Thomas. Especially if Vancouver wins.

Yeah, the Bure years were my favorite. That guy was such a unique talent with both hands and that burst speed to break away and create plays from nothing. He was a danger to score on every shift. And he didn't stand for getting punked after the play, ask Shane Churla.

I loved the team they had years ago with Pavel Bure and Trevor Linden. Really fun to watch with the old school colors.

hellbat, i dont know how you can stand watching vancouver when this shit happens... One game at home they look great defensively, luongo is good, etc, then the next game its a shellacking and luongo is terrible. Would make me wanna shoot a hole right thru the tv, lol.

sorry but I'm going with the home team. gambling wise. i have a hard time rooting for either of these teams, but in a game 7
i take the home team everytime. and yes, Luongo's statement was taken way out of context, what a surprise, that never happens with the media these days, ask Rex Ryan.

It's what every player dreams of. Scoring the game winner (or preventing it) in game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. Only one man gets to experience it. This is a career defining game, hopefully it's well officiated.

Calling a Bruins win........odds are they finally have to win one on the road.

Not like Thomas has been getting lit up in Vancouver, the offense just hasn't gotten on track for some reason.

A Lucic hat trick and then he punches the biter in the face.

The Olson twins would probably have brought more to this series than the Sedins have.
