I have the Black Beauties on my DK2M. They look pretty sweet with the white guitar and the black hardware. They last quite a while. I've been happy with them.

Geez...live a little! Branch out... try new things! DR makes some very
high quality coated strings...sure they wear down, after about 3 weeks..
but they are bright...last TWICE as long as EB's... and on certain axes..
look great imo. Case in point..black/grey/white swirled Ibanez.. with black
            beauties on it.

Absolutely perfect on my "Flame" Jackson... black works with the red, and graphic on this one imo. I'll try to get
a better close up...same DR/black beauties.. another time i put the Peacock Blue DR's on my HRF Charvel, and it
was the bomb! Matched the blue perfectly.

I love them, The DRs Extra-Life on 10's last quite a lot, the sound is almost always consistent and u can use the wear on the color over the frets as a sign that they need to be replaced.
By the way, if you have a floyd you will love them because you need to change strings less often, also if you are going to store a guitar for a lot of time the coating does wonders, (the local guitar store now uses them after my recomendation so they can always have good stings in their floor guitars)

DR Strings are ultimate quality, and has been said, last a long time. I put the "Black Beauties" on my all black Carvin X220, killer. On my black King V, red looks great:

And on the checkers Soloist, it really adds to the look:

Now for the big question do they make them in Mystic? My CS Rhoads changes colors from green to purple to amber, etc... depending on viewing angle. Can I get matching strings? :ROTF:

I LOVE that flame paintjob. Awesome.

Our guitarist Daniel has black strings on his Wolfgang - they don't sound too bad, the problem was the black coating started coming off pretty fast so he's now got an inverted soundhole-phenomenon with a big round chromey stain on his strings... The strings themselves look cool on a maple fretboard though... I bet they'd look awesome over the black fins on a DK2M...

Been using the DRs (Black) on my guits for years now and won't use anything else on my 6s and 7s. I haven't found anything that last as long or keeps their tone and attack as long as these strings do.

No gimmick at all, BODOM. They actually last longer and look way cooler. Besides, it's like they always say, once you go black you never go back.

How about red strings on a blood splatter? That way it will look like you had a freak picking accident.
