Been a GHS Boomers fan for years 10-46 for E or Eb (or Drop D, Drop Db when I feel like it). Or Carvin strings (Boomers in Carvin packaging, just less expensive).
Though, for tuning down to D or Drop C, I do like the Ernie Ball Power Slinky purple package 11-48 or DR High Beam 11-50.

I use Ernie Ball Super Slinkys a lot.. Though suddenly I find myself using DR Lite-n-Tite Tite Fit strings on my Charvel and really like them.

juststrings.com bulk sets. i make my own gauges and buy them in bulk packages and they work for me. last pretty long, havent broken one in years, as good as any other string ive tried basically. and cheaper.

                  i use 9, 12, 16, 26, 36, 48 for E standard to D standard, and 11, 14, 18, 30, 42, 54 for B standard.

Keep using the DR's. Excellent string in sound and long life.

I tried so many differnt kinds of strings and I always go back to the best. Fender strings. I like the Bullets. I usually run 9 - 42 for standard tunning and flat tunning. When tunning down to drop C, I just picked up some 10-46 Fender Bullets. I just got into Drop C as I'm playing some Bullet for my Valentine stuff for fun.
I have ran 9's all my life.

I use GHS Custom light (9/46) when I can get them.

I used to use D'addario's and Ernie Ball's but since I've sstarted using Elixir Nanoweb 9-42's I've never looked back. Also the few extra dollars you spend on the strings = not changing them for a long long time

Though they sound good, I have huge breakage problems with Ernie Ball stings on Kahler trems. I have had much better luck with Dean Markleys.
