FYI, one of our board sponsors Jacksonite would probably be more than happy to give you a good deal on an OFR. I've also seen them at Carvin, Ed Roman (has a bad rep), Warmoth, Stewmac (pricey) and a bunch of other places. They're not that hard to find really.
Uhhhhhhhhhhh, there's four places right there.

I've played plenty of the import trems, never had a problem staying in tune. Forget about the reviews... most of them are by people that don't know you need to stretch your strings out well before locking the nut down.
I bought mine, changed the strings to a higher gauge (11-48), set the
floyd rose and tuned the guitar...and I`ve been playing it almost every day...
(for 10 days) and I never tuned it once since then...
Checked just now and the guitar is stil perfect tuned...

        Jackson guitars just simply rule!

I had an original Floyd Rose and locking nut installed in my USA fender strat last spring. I bought the original Floyd from Carvin, for like $179.00 Just go to carvin.com

I actually use 10's, and I think that it will require some set up on the bridge after changing from 9's to 10's right?

              A little bit...
Just the springs on the back...
Tune it...look at the bridge ...If it`s flush with the body...
(you see on both sides the same amout of the base plate) then
is it ok...but if not adjust the springs on the back..tune it again.. and perfect

Got it all worked out. Took me a while to setup the bridge, but it plays much better w/ 10's. I messed w/ the whammy bar a little and it did go out of tune after a while, althou not much.

You don't have to drill anything.
                    It's a straight swap.
Just use your existing trem posts and lock nut.

Even though it says "Licensed under Floyd Rose Patents" , this Schaller would be an original FR right?

No, That's not an Original Floyd Rose.

So, what would be the difference from the one that the DKMG comes with? Let me put it this way, would it be worth to take the one my Jackson DKMG came with and replace for this one? Thanks.
