    I can't stand the non-recessed trem. I have been a strat player forever and I simply despise the Gibsonesque neck angle that is required for a non-recessed trem. I can handle it on an actual Gibson style guitar, but it is too much of a mish-mash on a strat bodied guitar.

      I actually would prefer if my Strat had the tilted back neck like a Les Paul, as I prefer the bridge higher off the body. I love my Double Fat Strat hardtail, but I don't care for how low the bridge is.
      I guess I'm going to have to raise the bridge saddles and loosen the neck bolts to utilize the micro-tilt feature so the neck can be pitched back like I would prefer.
      I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
