I usually don't get involved in these types of things, but I went ahead and emailed the guy. Hopefully he comes out of this unscathed. Or, perhaps he can just part the guitar out, make his money back and then some.

either that or have the frets levelled, and he'll probably be fine. i've had about 4 warmoth necks so far, all of which needed some degree of levelling.

nah, i just told him that it was probably a fret height issue. he disagreed, and told me that he checked it with a laser level.

Sully is right about the frets needing releveled. Warmoth just installs the frets pretty much straight of the spool. I have even had them come without being beveled. They even have/had it posted somewhere on their site saying some fret leveling and finishing will be required.-Lou
