  • Jackson Custom Shop Soloist Archtop SXC

Hi everybody. This is my first post. And it’s because I’ve got my first Jackson Custom Shop. I think that now it’s time to introduce myself and put some pics

I’m sorry if my English isn’t very good; I’m from Spain (Europe) and English is not my natural language.

Here we go. I ordered this Custom a year and two days ago. Here are the main specs and some pics.

    JACKSON CUSTOM SXC
    Soloist Archtop
    Color: solid black
    Neck-thru
Three piece quartersawn Maple neck (no scarf joint)
    Mahogany wings
Ebony bound fingerboard with compound radius (12’’ - 16’’) and black binding
    Speed neck back shape
    Graphite nut
Bridge: Tune-o-matic with strings through body
    EMG 81 - bridge
    EMG 85 - neck
1 volume knob and 3 way toogle
    Sperzel locking tuners
    Schaller Strap-locks

And some visual finish options, you’ll see them in the pics.

    Enjoy!

That looks awesome - great job putting those specs together! And your English is very good indeed

You might want to oil that fingerboard cos if it's ebony, it looks a little dry....

Very Nice. Those pick ups look like they are raised pretty high. Is that standard for a one piece guitar?
