what does the switch do? if I may ask...
                It's for the PA-2.

I use it to counter the volume difference between single and dual coils.

so you do have the standart push&pull for coil-tapping?
kind of interessting setup... but I guess it does have a growl with 89^PA2, doesan't it?
                  cool, unique guitar for sure!!

Although, I actually joined,... a few, years ago,.... lol!

It's alot different, much better in my opinion.
When I hit an open chord on my old guitar (81, 9v), with full distortion, it sounds muffled and muddy. But on the 89 18v set-up, every string sounds very clear and more defined.

As for getting it in 6 months, it's kinda funny, because the final inspection date was September, so it was done in ~4 months total.
Cool!, so would you say its worth the big chunk of wood removed to place the big battery box, I mean, it's not a "you have to pay close attention to hear the difference" mod, or is it?

Is it EMG89 in bridge? I've got it in my SL2H. Sounds awesome, fits perfectly.

yes looks right to me. The ebony fretboard could've been a bit blacker but that's the story with the jacksons of late anyway and I also notice that they have taken enough care on placing the floyd bridge so that the treble string is not near the edge as is the case with whatever Jackson that I see that have been made in the last couple of years (with the exception of the custom ones like yours though.)
