Of course I still have those 2!

I'm lucky enough to be pretty stable financially and I never have to sell anything.

The Red/White Blitzkrieg Rhoads and Tommy Asakawa's Blue Warrior Rhoads have always been 'holy grails' for me, since around 1984.

Those would be among the last I would ever sell.

So You could sell RR0051 to me if those two RR´s are your holy grails? Of course I could also trade...ok, back to business: could you post the pics from those two?

Yes....Tommy said that he had asked Grover, while the guitar was being built, to make him an reverse aluminum plate but it was never done so he used tape to create that unique look.

He had this guitar, a standard (not custom ordered like RR0242) student model Rhoads , done up with tape too. This pic is circa 1984, Warrior opening for Iron Maiden at the Aladdin in Las Vegas.

                    • That looks really cool! Weird with the V plate with no holes, considering it's not string-thru.

                        • The b/w pic is of the other model he had, a standard with dot inlays. The one Curt's got doesn't have any holes drilled in the plate.

                            Nope....different guitar.

                            Hint: Inlays.

                            Here's a cool video of Tommy & RR0242 live in '85.
