And Dan Lawrence did 10 Zoraxes himself. The last one was done for Ed Roman, and Dan said it was the last one he'd ever do because they were a PITA.

IIRC, there were only 3 or 4 Zoraxes done?

I thought he said there were 10 total back when he used to post here.

How many were made with an Elliot Fretboard (from the 1990 catalog)?

And Dan Lawrence did 10 Zoraxes himself. The last one was done for Ed Roman, and Dan said it was the last one he'd ever do because they were a PITA.

wizard can rest, I'm sure ed will be mass producing them in his backyard at $5000 a piece for blissfully ignorant punters anyway...

so how do you think he'll do that and still keep costs down enough that he can pocket 98% of that? Make a cast of his real Zoraxe and pump out an assembly line of resin copies? Folks seem to go nuts for those god-awful resin ESPs at NAMM, maybe they'll pay a fortune for a big plastic Zoraxe

What about Dan Fastuca's custom shop axes including the Fastar? those were wicked looking one offs.

Dan Lawrence did the graphics. I think he designed them himself.

I think we need to decide on a definition of "One-Off"...

To me, that means a SINGLE, since never reproduced guitar, the King Kutt is actually the only one that comes to mind other than possibly Friedman´s Lester...., all other named models exist at least as a pair, on most there was even a production run at one time... and zerb has killed the thread =P lol

unique shape, and only one copy of it in existance .. i think the king kutt qualifies.. even though it comes from the king kelly =/

kruneh; I`m not sure who designed Dan`s guitars and graphics. I thought he came up with the ideas himself. Ido know it was a company in Sweden that did the holographs for him.
