Yeah the Friedman is there. I was just playing it tonight to. Well for all of 5 minutes anyway.
It eneds a set up but its a good player. Although the frets are scalloped from the 17th up but it was done well. Yeah I couldn't pass the LTD88 up at 300 bucks. Now I just have to figure out which
ones to part with to cover my bills for the month.

Thanks guys. The weight is a little less than my Strat actually. so that would make it about average. My Strats is a bit on the heavier side.

The more you play it - the more you'll love it. My '88LE has been a happy addiction - still my #1...

*JT6 was standard. An OFR (or similar base plate) might chip it out due to the 'roundness' of the front corners of the trem rout.
              750xl, 88LE, AT1, Roswell Pro, SG-X, 4 others...
Stilletto Duece 1/2 Stack, MkIII Mini-Stack, J-Station, 12 spaces of misc rack stuff, Sonar 4, Event 20/20, misc outboard stuff...

Why do I still want MORE?

I know what ya mean nor I'm getting addicted to it. I love the neck. and now since it's wired right (more or less)( anybody have a schematic for the wiring?) It sounds great and has a lot of different tones. The scallops take a little getting used to but I love it.

Jim you need that Friedman. It's calling your name.

I played it tonight.. The setup isn't terrible and the scallop job was good. They even kept the one fin. I am tempted very tempted will my wallet allow though

The chips are there on my LTD ed 88 too. Just around the bridge cavity. I tried replacing the bridge with a JT-590, but the results were awful. I am now in the progress of reinstalling the original JT-6.

And the neck is frickin' awesome. Smooth and fast.
