I think it looks way better with the trans-blue than the white pinstripes. The maple seems to go with darker colours I think. Maybe its the painted headstock that isn't working for me as much though.

I agree with sonic about Jackson marketing. No, I don't expect them to market limited runs but has anyone ever seen an ad for the RR24, Bond RR, or the upcoming Demmel V? When other companies have a new model (especially a signature) they usually advertise the hell out it.

I do remember seeing ads for the Bond when it first came out. They were advertising the RR5 alongside a stage pic of Randy. There were ads for the COWs, and again when they released the new colours. And they've been running full page ads for the Dominion for a while.

Fender just doesn't seem to do much advertising for Jackson. I get Guitar Player and Guitar World and I never see adds for Jackson. Well, almost never.

ive got one just like that near my neck in my dk2 , its just a finish crack not anything serious
