I dont think theres too much orang. Once you put your black pickups and black hardware on there it'll fill up nicely!
I also like the inverted bengal colours!

I think you should paint the black part blue...

then it would be UF colors and it would rock

yeah I know, I am sad

Once the neck is on and pickups are in, it will look more black over all I'm betting. what kind of paint did you use on it?

Re: my first paint job on a JS20 body

i used rustoleum. the orange was like one of those neon orange colors that you always see next to the hot pinks and hot greens or whatever, but it came out as normal orange (to me at least)

the black was just a plain gloss black, and then i topped it off with a clear color coat. all multipurpose cheap 3 dollar/can paint.

the picture in this thread doesnt have the clear coat on it though, i may take an updated one

Looks good. The black pickups really help fill in the middle of the graphic.

yeah i just basically laid those parts on. i dont plan on using the neck, cuz i want maple, the nut is FUCKED and the tuning keys blow.

i also want a black bridge too. i need to contact warmoth to see if their necks will fit
