Probably because im a scandinavian hehe

Btw all the other Dk2's i seem to find pictures of has Chrome all over them, is there a special reason why mine does have a "matte chrome" compared to those blingy chromes I always find pictures off? Found pictures of a 1998, 1999 and 2000 DK2 and they all had shiny chrome compared to my "matte chrome"

Found a 1998 with the same matte chrome as mine though.

The matte "brushed" chrome finish was available for a couple years in the late '90s.

Cool thanks, I find it more appealing then the Blingy Chrome.

You're welcome. Some people didn't like the brushed hardware all that much. I had it on a Schecter 7-string a long time ago, and I thought it was pretty neat. It looks a little grayish.

My DK3 has brushed chrome hardware, circa 2000 i believe without checking. Personally i like the brushed look, but hate the pup layout H-S-H.

I have grown to hate chrome.
              Brushed pewter looks much better.

I don't know when it changed, but it just looks cheap to me these days.
