I could use a fixed bridge KV! Depends on how much you'd want for it... :P

my serial number is 9846939. I always thought this is a 2002 KVX10 made of poplar?
It definitely doesnt sound like alder to me.

Well, this model never had a poplar body; if you read this thread you'd find out it was basswood for the 1st year, then alder from 2002-06, then basswood again 2006 - current. Yours is a more recent model, most likely between 2008 - 2010.

My kvx10 definitely isnt alder. It doesnt sound like alder, sounds more mellow and its much heavier in weight than alder too. It has the made in japan sticker on the back AND a fixed bridge.
I really wasnt aware there were fixed bridge kvx10's made out of basswood?

In 2001 the kvx had an alder body.

Not sure what happened after that but i think after that its all alder until they switched to floyds.

I didn't say yours is alder. I dated yours to 2008 or newer, making it basswood.

Jackson brochures are notorious for errors, I believe the Poplar in that brochure scan is wrong.
