Anyways, when I got it, the seller told me it was a 1983 Fusion Pro. I knew it wasn't an '83, but when I saw it, I also knew it wasn't a Fusion. It's a Soloist Pro, but I have no idea when it was made. The pic of the serial is misleading, the 1st digit after the J is a 0.

This is a pic right after I got it. It had an ugly replacement single locking trem. So I put a gotoh in there. I did have to hog out the trem cavity a tad.

But it turned out OK. At least it's getting played now.

                  • its built in 99 i beleive just by serial numbers-the first number is the decade and the 4th number is the year in the decade so in you case i would say 99

To which serial are you referring to? Whatever one it is you're a bit off

                      • Stealth LT 922858. Never heard of the LT models until I took the neck off and its written on there in felt tip. Previous owner bought it in the early 90's so probably 1992 MIJ.
You can't really be jealous of something you can't fathom.

Yup, '92. Here it is in a '92 catalog: http://audiozone.dk/guitargallery/?c...92-2Page10.jpg

Yeah, '04 & '05. MIJ neckthroughs of this era, sn has the first 2 digits indicating year.

I'll go with pre 1996 MIJ bolton sn being 9xxxxxx with the first 2 digits again indicating year. For 1996 and after, they started with 960000x and went up in consecutive numbering.
