I got them to do a satin finish on the neck, same deal as I'm used to on my Jackson bolt-ons as far as I know...? Tung oil sounded cool, but I'm worried about upkeep and dirt and shit getting in the wood.

What kinda $$ are you paying if you don't mind me asking. I'm thinking of getting a Carvin as my next guitar. It would most likely be white, SS Frets, Rounded body edges. Dot Inlays on the standard Ebony board.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

Hey man! I updated the specs a little bit today over the phone when I realized they offered Abalone logos, but here's the specs and what I'm paying...

          Model: DC127M

Maple Neck through w/ Mahogany sides
Satin finish on back of neck
          Ebony fretboard with abalone dots
          Abalone logo
          String through Tune-O-Matic bridge
          Sperzel locking tuners
          14" fretboard radius
Greenburst on wide pattern Flamed Maple
          Deep Triple Step Stain
          Stainless Steel Jumbo Frets
          Reverse Inline Standard Headstock
          Black hardware
          M22SD bridge, C22J pickups
          Dunlop Straplocks

Including a case and shipping to Canada, $1488.97. Not bad if you ask me!

Looks like good specs! My next guitar will definitely be a DC127C, but we have to fix the roof first. Ah the joys of homeownership!
