      ALSO

I selected the top wood as I was standing there. IF it looks like ass then its my fault i guess. I took a 3A top. instead of the upcharge for a 5a. IF i get a warrior 4. I will get a 5 a top. it depends on how this turns out and how i like it.

Shop run by father ( luthier ) and son (pickup maker )

Pickups sounded good. really good. The bridge was fatter sounding than my Duncan Custom in the guitar I brought to show him.

I had him change the neck profile to fit my needs - no boat neck for me. ( no upcharge )

      I ma going 2 knob 1 toggle ( no upcharge )

I played a PRS copy. Specifially the S109 model. It playes really great. Fret work is top notch as is the binding work. The finish is a mirror shine and has great depth to it.

Some other guy was delivering custom hardshell cases when I was hanging around in there They look really great as well. Similar quality to a G&G or TKL deluxe - but manufacturered locally in thailand.

I should have it in 4 weeks. Will post pics when i get it.

These look really nice. Most of them look much better then the actualy guitars. These are very tempting. Someone please post a review when you get one.

I wonder if it would be possible to get barebones models? Just a finished neck and body?

They used to make one that looked like a blue PRS hollowbody, that had dolphins inlaid on it. I told him I'd take two if he could make me those as 7's, and he said no. They look pretty good to me.

I'm sure they would arrange something.

If it is, Ed Roman will probably have a lot of PRS Santanas and Singlecuts for sale in the near future...

How well does the trem perform, i.e. how stable is it? I asked them about the manufacturer and they told me it was a japanese company but not Gotoh. I wouldn't mind ordering with a Wilkinson VS100 trem . Anybody know what options they offer if any?

                                Regards
