Re: B.C. Rich Gunslinger?

I just bought myself a gunslinger for christmas.
Snakeskin graphic with a rosewood fret board, slanted hum in the bridge and a slanted single coil in the neck (B 9146).
I don't think it's the original nut for the floyd licensed trem though.
Seems to be wider than the neck and uses 3 shims to make up the height difference to the fretboard.
Neck is 1.6425" and the nut is 1.7125".
Does that sound right to you guys?
Thanks.
BTW, nice top on that axe.
Nice wings on those warriors too.

Pulverizer, what color is your snakeskin? mine is blue and has the same slanted hum with slanted single at neck (although mine is maple fingerboard). My neck measures 1.636" at the nut, and my floyd nut measures 1.612", or just slightly narrower than the fingerboard. Mine also has 3 shims(!). Sounds like your shim count is right, but maybe someone swapped the nut to a wider one with more string spacing.

Thanks for the info MountainDog.
Mine is mostly grey with brown and green.
Anyone know where I can get the right locking nut? The high E is a little too close to the edge for my taste.
Thanks.
