Well the artwork looks to be professionally done. I'll say not a good graphic since I don't need/want a porno pic on my guitar. The front is supposed to be a shower scene, but the artist didn't capture the water beading & dripping down the females.

By the way $800 for a DXMG... The guitar is a great guitar, just not worth that much.

Erm, why not just pick a graphic that you like and say to hell with what everyone else thinks? For every graphic, you're going to find a couple of people who can't stand them.

If there was another thread titled "Favorite Finishes," I'll bet you a million jillion dollars that people would be listing the same graphics that are mentioned in this thread. (Not the same people, obviously.)

I'm still trying to decide what I want. The fretboard is ebony with crosses for inlays - it kinda narrows down your choices. I was thinkin of having a chick and tits....LOL! Seriously, something "Heaven and Hell" like comes to mind, but I'm not sure what.

I never cared for the crackles, granite, or eerie dess finishes. As far as graphics go, I think the Frankenstein is pretty bad. Bikini Beach isn't far behind. Just my two cents...

i don't care for the eds, but i don't mind some marbelizer finishes. i think the silver swirl is okay. not a fan of crackle; thought it was retarded in the 80s and still feel the same way.

trans black isn't one of my favorites, either. it's usually used when you have figured wood that isn't all that great looking. so when i see trans black, i instantly connect that to a lame top.

i DO like the big metal flake finishes because it's so tacky that it has character.

i also don't like gibson's heritage cherry when it looks like it's shot with a rattle can.

i don't really dig the HRF stuff, but i DO like the realistic flames (like the dime-o-flames) that's cool b/c it's not cookie cutter, and it's not real easy to do it well.

also, most graphics with chick faces on them; it's so hard to get a face to look good, let alone hot.

Of the finishes, I'd have to say the crackles, granite, and eerie dess are my least favorites. As far as graphics go, the frankenstein doesn't appeal to me, with the bikini beach in a close second. But hey, it's in th eye of the beholder so whatever "trips your trigger"...
