Thin, flat, wide. Just like a SD pointyhead Charvel.

The DK2 neck is probably one of the thinner Jackson import necks currently made. However, the terms "thin", "medium", and "thick" are arbitrary words and can really only be used when compared with another neck.

For example, an Ibanez RG neck is thinner than a Gibson Les Paul neck.

My Soloist has a fantastic neck backshape. I don't know what it is, but I love it. Feels like an Ibanez Wizard neck except with more beef so it feels more comfortable. I've been really turned on by thicker necks lately, but the backshape is much more important.

Thanks for your input bro! I appreciate it.

I like it quite thin. like on my rhoads is perfect.
played it quite a long time now, and it was my first guitar, so I really got used to it. I own a beautiful model 5fx I won't get used to somehow, coz the neck feels way too thick for me.
somehow sucks, coz I really like the look and sound and whatnot of this guitar a lot...

I'd like to be more independant when it comes to my equipment.
but give me another guitar, or another pick and I won't be able to play serious, or even want to at all.
          preferences suck.

I like the profile on my PC1. Then a close 2nd would be the neck on my '87 Soloist.
