I have a few JB Player neck thrus and they are fine guitars. The big detractor is the funky Kahler copy trem. I am doing a recessed floyd on one and will let you know how it comes out

Mahogony body. Maple veneer top. Maple neck. Ebony fretboard.

These guitars are so cool.
A bit heavy for a Strat but then how many Strats do you see with a mahogony body?
