Fair enough; sorry if I misjudged your intent there, Boxcar. BTW on an actual serious note, you go to school and live in North Carolina, right? Are you out of the hurricane warning zone? That's serious stuff; I don't know if you've been through a hurricane but make sure you're in a safe place.

there are several abusive threads currently up and running in which i have worked very hard to assemble an army of fine and giving humans (to the poor and the sick i might add) like rocker, who are completely dedicated to the bolstering of my collection. this is all about me, as this whole board is about me, and i truly feel that any wiping out of any threads will only hurt my
cause and restore this once fine place back to sanity and order. and that is just not fair [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Bah, hurricanes...I went thru one when I was 4. I think it's gonna miss here though, but I live in a brick building with all the water and powerlines underground, so I'll be ok.

Brick is good, but if it heads your way
you need to either board up your windows, or at least go into the hall or a room with no windows when it's peaking.

I went through Hurricane Camille when was 11. We took shelter at the brick elementary school, and made it through,
but next morning the brick cafeteria 20 feet away from our building was gone. One corner was left, where a guy had parked his motorcycle, and his bike was
basically unscathed, but the rest was leveled to the floor. Tornado did that.

Just be careful and ready if it does come your way, but I'm glad to hear it looks to miss you. What a mess they leave. As
4-year-old or 11-year-old, we didn't have to help with cleanup so much, but adults
have to pitch in, and it sucks. My brother was 23 at the time, and he found
quite a few dead bodies for up to a week
after. A week in the August Mississppi

If anyone wants my opinion... I love Jenna and after 15 years of looking at guitar catalogs I'm happy to see her in one of them. Why? Because this is rock and roll man... it's all about cool guitars, hot looking girls and having fun. Jenna qualifies as a hot looking girl in my book. Just my own opinion!

Thanks Lerxst I'll keep that in mind...Hugo was pretty bad...no power for a week, we had just moved into our new house out in the country, a wellhouse meant that with no power meant no water, the driveway had 3 bigass trees down across it at different points, and my mom was about 8 months pregnant...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Jeez, that is pretty bad, especially with your mom being 8 months; our power and water were out for about 3 weeks with Camille, but we had gas for cooking and an artesian well in the lot next to ours, which gave us drinking water. We were lucky compared to many.

Lex is an old fogie like me, and BW is a college kid, so I tend to agree with experience. Lex is right. But I think this thread was carried out wayyyyyy to long!
