    good job jackson!!
If you think about it, many bands who play thrash, death and extreme metal these days could fit in that category as well, and no one worries or carse about an 80's comment anymore! IMO pointy headstocks, superstarts and ponity guitars in general are somehow becoming fashionable again with the metal acts and kids are digging them...

I like Chris's new guitar but I'm not in love with it, however I think Jackson is on the right track by diversifying their collection a bit.

I really dig this. Better than just doing a regular Soloist, IMO.

anyway, i like the guitar. it is different and gives jackson a MODERN guitar. the broderick sort of reminds me of my brian moore, which is a guitar that was designed for functionality and playing comfort. i like it, and depending on price/color options may pick one up. it would be nice to play a jackson live without some dingle-berry making an "80's comment.

    good job jackson!!

I really like the shape, I don't know why. I would've prefered a different knob/selector placement, and maaybe the lower horn for better access/to make the shape flow more. Other than that, I really like that.

I was extremely happy when Chris came to Jackson, and now that they released this shape, I see nothing but good things in the future.

I like it, not my bag though. But, I do like that it's a little bit different though.

Yeah. I like the dominionist. It's not your typical Jackson but hey it's custom shop.

And my guess for the mystical extra toggle switch is piezo.

EDIT: The 7-string headstock looks large. It's not like in the SLAT3-7 but still it reminds me of a 12-string headstock.

I don't mind the body shape at all. The reverse-smurf headstock is the best choice for the 7, but I'd love to see a reverse pointy on the 6-string. I think it would balance really well with the asymmetrical body.

hmm, the looks dont appeal to me- looks more function than style. Its a Horizon (ESP), caparison, schecter, sls, morton mutant and looks like i should be used for euro orchestra metal

yeah body kinda looks like a schecter not really feeling it. i liked his ibanez better but if he likes it good for him. i don't see it becoming an iconic guitar down the road but whateva.

Is it me or does the body shape just look like a Schecter from a few years ago? Albeit with a strange control config..
