You know what, I imagined it somehow that it's going to look like that after I read the description on Jackson's blog... The guitar looks okay, but it doesn't look much like a Jackson or represents the Jackson brand well enough. To me this guitar is more like a hybrid of other brands out there, and definitely I prefer the seven-string headstock over the six-string version.

    If it's a coil tap, it's mine.

Also assuming a Mahogany body as that seems to be Broderick's preference.

I don't know what's going on as far as electronics. Looks like a pup selector switch up higher like John Petrucci, then volume and tone and some other kind of toggle switch.

Cool. I would be all over that six string if they did it as a production model. I'd probably end up swapping the D-activators though. Does anyone know if there are any switching options like coil tabs onboard?

EDIT : Does it, to anyone else, look like the bottom half of a Dominion with dual Soloist cutaways?
    They did a 6 as well as a 7 for him. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattsmu...er/5350293355/
It also reminds me of a Dominion/Soloist hybrid.

slap my tits and call me crazy carol, but i think it looks badass. Maybe it's just that most of the JCFers here are so enamored with the classic (and yes, AWESOME) shapes that they seem to shun the body shapes that you couldn't impale your enemies with (save for the dinky/soloists, but come on). I understand a distaste for the dominion, but i think this one's pretty dope.

    anyone?

Hopefully given the fact that Dean actually sent out an e-mails today announcing the Bret Michaels Signature series of guitars for 2011, Dave will finally think "What the hell?? I'm outta here" and come on home. Turned to a buddy at work and told him about it and the first thing he said was: "I assume all the fretboards are ROSEwood".
