I don't know what's going on as far as electronics. Looks like a pup selector switch up higher like John Petrucci, then volume and tone and some other kind of toggle switch.

You know what, I imagined it somehow that it's going to look like that after I read the description on Jackson's blog... The guitar looks okay, but it doesn't look much like a Jackson or represents the Jackson brand well enough. To me this guitar is more like a hybrid of other brands out there, and definitely I prefer the seven-string headstock over the six-string version.-Metal wouldn't be the same without Pointy guitars-

I like the 7 string headstock. I think Chris is an awesome guitarist and I am glad he is with Jackson.Last edited by joshulator; 01-13-2011, 01:40 PM.

so, now that people have seen the guitar, does that mean that the "broderick comes to jackson" boner-fest is over? all i saw on here was excitement bordering on stupidity (especially for adults), and now that the guitar has been shown, people are bitching? typical. it seems jackson can't win....
anyway, i like the guitar. it is different and gives jackson a MODERN guitar. the broderick sort of reminds me of my brian moore, which is a guitar that was designed for functionality and playing comfort. i like it, and depending on price/color options may pick one up. it would be nice to play a jackson live without some dingle-berry making an "80's comment.
good job jackson!!GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
