A previous pic of the sixer had more prominent grain, but I agree with this one it's too subtle (could just be the photograph too). Actually, I thought these were supposed to be quilt tops and not flame?

I see that they have a signature TRP's now. I hope that's not for the production guitars but wouldn't be a hard fix.

"Pedantic"? Watch much Family Guy lately. Maybe a particular episode? HMMM? Peter Griffin's vocabulary rubbing off? Hmm? LOL

Just having fun with the word "pedantic". Yes I watch to much Family Guy. Tis the woman that watches it. I just stare for something to do. [Turns and whistles as he exits the room.]

        • Is that a rosewood fretboard? I remember him saying ebony cos he used to die all his rosewood ones black. And the elongated bottom kinda bugs me but other then that its a sick looking guitar imo.

I wish. I used to watch it all the time, but my missus has suddenly gone off it, so it's mostly Housewives of Random County these days.

                  • Does anybody know the neck profile they are using on Broderick's Soloist? Also, I wonder how thick that maple cap is.

                    • The fingerboard is a 12 inch radius. No mention of a compound at all in the specs. Thats a departure from the standard Jackson profile of today. Although in the early years Jackson did not use (or at least specify using) a compound radius. Just a 12 inch radius.
Maybe someone else here has a bit more.

Yeah I knew that. Was speaking more on the width and thickness etc.

Just got some word on the release date.....Now pushed back to November/December. Originally was April/May...then August/September. :-)

Profile is the backshape of the neck and has nothing to do with fingerboard radius.

Anyway, didn't Jackson also have a flat 15" radius at one time?
